VAIL CABARET NIGHTS" BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND AT MARKETPLACE ON MEADOW DRIVE

Nine Week Run to Begin January 24th

VAIL, CO (January 21, 2010) – Sing it from the rooftops, the popular Vail Cabaret Nights is back!   Beginning Sunday, January 24th, Cabaret performances will be held every Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday through March 24th. The fun-filled evenings include singing waiters and waitresses as well as the award winning tapas, pizza and crepes from Marketplace on Meadow Drive.

Lead by artistic director Rayla Kundolf and musical director Taylor Kundolf, the talented performing cast includes many crowd favorites. Cast members include Remsen Allard, Charlie Barry, Meghan Jacobs, Gina Lovell, Kate Manley and Aundréa Ware.

Remsen Allard is a junior at Battle Mountain High School. He has been singing and performing since he was a youngster. Remsen has been involved in numerous productions with the Vail Performing Arts Academy. He also has been a regular member of the Battle Mountain High School Players and is a member of the barbershop quartet Shan nana Mockery. Remsen's other interests include hip-hop dancing, running, Nordic and alpine skiing, playing classical and contemporary guitar and creating films.

Charlie Barry is from Edwards, Colorado and has lived in Vail Valley all his life. He began singing five years ago, when he first participated in plays and musicals. He performs with the Vail Performing Arts Academy and is a member of the Battle Mountain High School Players.  Like Remsen, he is a member of the barbershop quartet Shan nana Mockery. Charlie is an avid skier and is a student at The Ski Academy/Battle Mountain.

Meghan Jacobs is a senior at Vail Christian High School. She loves to sing and is planning on pursuing it as a profession. She is active in the music program at her school and participates in musical events locally. She sings in chapel at her school and was asked to sing at the Beaver Creek Tree Lighting this year, which was her biggest audience yet, consisting of 3,000 people. Meghan enjoys volleyball and skiing. She also loves watching football, seeing good movies with her friends, traveling with her family, and talking.

Gina Lovell currently attends Battle Mountain High School as a senior and leads a very busy life. She is actively involved in as many theatre productions as possible because of her love of the stage. Also, she participates in many sports and clubs in her free time. Singing is her favorite pastime, and she is a firm believer that the world would be a better place if everyone burst out into song and dance every once in a while. In the future, she will continue to be involved in theatre and voice and hopes to inspire others to do what they love. She thinks that most people need to "chill out", and where better than in the heart of Vail at the Cabaret? She wishes to thank her friends and family for always supporting her, and hopes everyone enjoys their time at the Cabaret!

Aundréa Ware has lived in Gypsum for 14 years. As a mother of three children, she is very excited to participate in the Cabaret Nights 2010. She has been singing since she was 12, has won many competitions and was awarded the National School Choral Award in 1996. Some of her local music contributions have been to Word of Life Worship Center, in Gypsum, Eagle Valley Community Church, in Eagle and The Aspen Grove Cafe in Edwards. When she is not singing, she owns and manages a personal assistant, organization and cleaning company.

Kate Manley is a junior at Battle Mountain High School.  Kate plays volleyball, golf and skis, but her passion is music. Kate this past summer attended the six-week operatic vocal program at Interlochen and is currently waiting to hear if she will be attending Tanglewood's operatic vocal program this summer.   Kate's ultimate goal is to attend Julliard and pursue a career in Vocal Performance.

Also featured will be Camille Sawtelle, Danielle Barry and Baily Garton

"It is both an honor and a privilege to work with these talented performers. We've become like a family here at Cabaret Nights," said Rayla Kundolf, artistic director for Vail Cabaret Nights. "We all look forward to continuing our tradition of food, fun and fabulous performances here at Marketplace on Meadow Drive."
