“VAIL CABARET NIGHTS” SCHEDULED
FOR MARKETPLACE ON MEADOW DRIVE
“Vail Cabaret Nights” is planned for Marketplace on Meadow Drive this summer. The event will feature singing waiters and waitresses at the popular Vail Village marketplace.
Vail Cabaret Nights is a musical event where Vail Valley residents perform Broadway music as a singing waiter or waitress. Vail Cabaret Nights is presented by Marketplace on Meadow Drive. The musical director is Dawn Poff, a well-known pianist and vocalist in Vail Valley.
So far 8 individuals have been chosen to provide entertainment at the Marketplace from June 25 through July 25.
Performances of “Vail Cabaret Nights” are scheduled for 8-10 pm after all evening Bravo! Vail Music Festival concerts that occur at Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater. After performances at the Amphitheater, Bravo! concert goers can head to Marketplace on Meadow Drive for a light dinner while enjoying the performances of the singing wait staff.
“This event will bring a fun feature of entertainment to the otherwise popular Marketplace dining venues,” said Robert McNichols, developer of One Willow Bridge Road and owner of the Marketplace on Meadow Drive. “It’s a great way to showcase the talents of our valley residents and create a festive attraction for the summer.”
Marketplace on Meadow Drive does not retain a regular wait staff. This will be a special feature of the summer season.
Marketplace on Meadow Drive is located in Vail Village, at the corner of Meadow Drive and Willow Bridge Road, just west of the International Bridge. It is on the ground floor of the One Willow Bridge Road condominium building. From the Vail garage, head west on Meadow Drive. Look for the “Café” sign at Marketplace on Meadow Drive.
